The resort of Porto Cristo sits quietly on the east of the Majorca and retains much of it's quaint Spanish fishing village qualities.

For a land excursion whilst on holiday in Porto Cristo the town of Manacor is just 10-minutes drive away, famous for its pearls, olive wood craft and lively weekly market which takes place on a Monday.

The Jumaica Tropical Park, found on the outskirts of the Porto Cristo is a popular choice for families on holiday in Porto Cristo, children can enjoy the birds and small animals in the mini-zoo.

Another attraction close by to Porto Cristo is the Auto Safari Zoo, an enjoyable day out for families, where you can drive yourself around the park or travel on the zoo train.
