About the hotel
Situated by the beautiful beach of Gagou, this charming hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the town and the port of Vathy. A leisurely walk along its cobbled streets will take its guests to a number of relaxed tavernas, where the traditional “sweet wine” flows and where life seems to be going in the same leisurely pace as it was in the times of Epicure, Aristarchus and Pythagoras and the other famous philosophers who had inhabited this Aegean island. Built next to the beach, the hotel itself offers the chance to enjoy a drink while watching how the sun dives into the blue sea or have a pleasant meal while the balmy breezes play with the small fishing boats that are coming to the shore. For those who prefer a little more privacy the spacious balconies of the rooms offer great views of the beach and a perfect place for an intimate dinner.
