About the hotel

The 4-star Ocean Gardens Hotel, located approximately 15 minutes from Madeira Airport and 10 minutes from Funchal city center, offers 85 twin/double rooms. Guests enjoy a complimentary shuttle bus to the city center Monday through Friday, and the hotel is well-served by public transportation. Perched on a cliff overlooking the sea, all rooms boast magnificent Atlantic Ocean views, with 50 rooms also featuring views of Funchal Bay. The hotel offers a variety of room types including 4 Junior Suites, 38 Superior Bay View rooms, 11 Bay View rooms, and 32 Sea View rooms. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV (98 channels), direct-dial telephone, a minibar, and a safe (extra charge). Hairdryers are also provided, and some rooms include both a bath and shower, while others have a shower only. All rooms are non-smoking; however, smoking is permitted on the balconies.
