Things to do on Holiday in Marsa Alam:
The main activity for holiday makers to Marsa Alam in Egypt is diving.
One of the more popular dive sites is the horseshoe shaped Samadai Reef, which is found just off the shore of Marsa Alam. Also named the 'Dolphin House', this shallow lagoon is the residence of over 100 spinner dolphins. Ensure to book for this dive as there is a daily cap on visitor numbers in place.

Another top dive sight in Marsa Alam is the splendid Elphinstone Reef, the reef's underwater walls are covered with soft corals and it's possible to sight hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks and white tip reef sharks, barracudas and angel fish.

For an adventure on dry land whilst on holiday in Marsa Alam, head out on a desert safari, either by camel, donkey, Jeep or quad bike. Visit a Bedouin village and try Bedouin tea, ride the dunes on your quad bike or camel, explore the wadis and enjoy a breathtaking sunset from the top of a mountain before returning to continue your holiday in Marsa Alam.
