Travel Guide to your Holiday in Javea:
Javea lies about 80 km north east of Alicante, in between the holiday resorts of Denia and Altea. To reach Javea take the road along the coastline of the Costa Blanca and see its wonderful views.

Javea has three areas, the old town of Javea, the Javea port and the Javea beach area, known as the Arenal. The Arenal beach is actually 3km along the coast from the Javea port, and is a popular nightspot, lined with bars, restaurants and even a night market. Transfer to Javea from Alicante airport is around 80 minutes and around 85 from Valencia airport.

Things to do on Holiday in Javea:
For fun days out, Benidorm is the place to head whilst on your holiday in Javea, home to the Terra Mitica theme park and neighbouring TerraNatura zoo and aquapark, the Mundomar Sea Life and Animal Park and next to this is Aqualandia Benidorm aquapark.

Nearby attractions to Javea:
Around a 60 minute drive inland from Javea is the village of Guadalest, a strategic military stronghold with fortifications dating back to 715AD. It's a popular tourist attraction with holiday makers to Javea and its cobbled streets are filled with shops, crafts and restaurants.

The natural beauty spot of 'Las Fuentes del Algar' (the Algar waterfalls, around 1-hour drive from Javea) is a great place for a picnic and enjoy a refreshing dip in one its freshwater pools (to get the most out of your visit from Javea it's worth taking some water shoes to help with the pebbly water bed).

For an interesting day out on holiday in Javea take a daytrip into the old town of Altea, with its blue domed church of Nuestra Senora de Consuelo, wander down the narrow, cobbled streets lined with many arts and crafts shops.
