The holiday resort of Biniancolla has a laid back atmosphere making an ideal choice for those seeking rest and relaxation on their holiday.

Cala Biniancolla is a small quiet holiday located on the south east coast of the island of Menorca. Biniancolla offers a small number of hotels, bars and restaurants and for a greater variety Punta Prima is close-by and the capital Mahon is approx a 20 minute drive. Biniancolla is around 25 minutes from the airport by coach transfer.

Beaches on Holiday in Biniancolla:

The beach in Biniancolla is very small, just 35m long by 50m wide but it is sandy and quiet so it is an ideal place for a spot of relaxation. There is a bigger beach in Punta Prima which is not far from Biniancolla.

In Biniancolla many people dive and swim from the rocks but there is a swimming platform and a ladder down for those who prefer to take the safer route.

Things to do on Holiday in Biniancolla:

There are no facilities as such in Biniancolla which may be perfect for those who just want some peace and relaxation but Menorca's largest winery is just 2km away from Biniancolla. You can wander through the vineyards at your own pace and get a sample of the wine or you can join the tour (for a small fee) and get samples of their wine, grape jelly and Menorcan goats cheese.

Out and about on Holiday in Biniancolla:

There are a couple of restaurants here, one at Biniancolla cove and the other just a short stroll from there. There are no shops in Biniancolla so if you need anything you will need to venture to Punta Prima which is less than 2km away so no big deal really.

As well as a few restaurants, Biniancolla has a cash machine, 2 supermarkets and a pharmacy, there is also car hire in Punta Prima which might be a good idea to explore the area.

Nearby Attractions to Biniancolla:

Whilst on holiday in Biniancolla and you fancy the idea of a trip to the winery, you may also wish to visit the nearby distillery. Not only will you get to sample the gin but you can also try various strange liqueurs and tonics. There is also a liquor outlet and a souvenir shop so you may well pick up a bargain.

If you fancy a little shopping, you may want to take a trip from Biniancolla to Mahon and have a wander round the craft and clothing market that is held in the main plaza every Saturday.
